गोड्या पाण्याचे महत्त्व यावर लक्ष केंद्रित करणे आणि गोड्या पाण्याच्या संसाधनांच्या शाश्वत व्यवस्थापनाची वकिली करण्याच्या उद्देशाने जागतिक जल दिन दरवर्षी 22 मार्च रोजी आयोजित केला जातो.
