01 जून – जागतिक पालक दिन

“जागतिक पालक दिवस” म्हणून 1 जून 2012 रोजी संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघाच्या महासभेने 17 सप्टेंबर 2012 रोजी संकल्प 66/292 ला संकल्प केला. जगभरातील पालकांचे प्रेम, वचनबद्धता आणि निःस्वार्थ प्रयत्नांना त्यांच्या मुलांकडे सन्मानित करण्यासाठी आणि मान्य करण्यासाठी हा दिवस घोषित करण्यात आला.

The United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 66/292 on 17 September 2012 on 1 June 2012 as “World Parents Day”. The day was declared to honor and acknowledge the love, commitment and selfless efforts of parents around the world to their children.
